The European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry is an organization of individuals whose primary concern is in the area(s) of practice, education and/or research specifically related to the specialty of Paediatric Dentistry. It purpose shall be the advancement of the specialty of Paediatric Dentistry for the benefit of the oral health of children.

The International Association of Dentistry for Children, now the IAPD, was founded in 1969 with a national membership of 31 nations and a supporting membership of 270, which has grown to 45 nations and over 700 members in 2005.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) is the membership organization representing the specialty of pediatric dentistry. Our 7,000 members work in private offices, clinics and hospital settings and serve as primary care providers for millions of infants, children, adolescents and patients with special health care needs. In addition, AAPD members serve as the primary contributors to professional education programs and scholarly works concerning dental care for children.
